The role of the Project Manager,Economic Development, is to promote and facilitate economic development, business development and employment opportunities across the four sponsor member Municipalities of the Wimmera Development Association.

Liaising with and supporting local businesses, community and regional organisations as well as Councils and Government agencies.

The Economic Development Project Manager identifies opportunities to source State and Federal Government as well as philanthropic funding opportunities and assists with the application process.

Proactive business support services, efficient domestic and export transport networks and a skilled and stable workforce are the foundation for the successful clustering of innovation in the region.
