The Wimmera Intermodal Freight Terminal is curently underconstruction at Dooen 8km North East of Horsham. The new terminal will provide a central location for grain storage and export. The facilities will replace the ageing terminal located at the Horsham railway station.

Four major contractors are constructing the site

• Watpac
• Downer
• O'Donnell Griffin
• Miller Contracting

The project will engage regional contractors and contribute to the regional economy. The terminal facilities will be commissioned in late 2011.
