Local support

Coronavirus Testing (Horsham): If you have any COVID-19 symptoms contact the Wimmera Healthcare Group clinic for assessment by phoning 03 5362 3474 between 10am and 5pm any day of the week.

Multilingual COVID-19 information and updates

The Federal Government Department of Health provides information factsheets, video and audio on COVID-19 vaccines in multiple languages.

The Department of Health and Human Services provides daily COVID-19 updates including translated information for people from culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds.

The Victoria State Government Coronavirus (COVID-19) website also provides translated health and business support information in 58 languages.

SBS News provides Australian and international news and information about the Coronavirus Vaccine and COVID-19 in your language

Healthdirect provides a COVID-19 Restrictions Checker that is not multilingual.

Multilingual App

The My-Aus COVID-19 mobile app provides detailed information on COVID-19 in Australia in more than 20 languages. It is available for iOS and Android devices.

Face masks

Face masks may be required in public spaces and work places.

Videos explaining face covering (mask) wearing are available to download in 56 languages.

Karen COVID-19 information telephone hotline

Bendigo Community Health has videos and information fact sheets on COVID-19/coronavirus and the COVID-19 vaccination in Karen, Dari and Dinka.

Funding and support

The Federal Government has information in your language about payments and services such as Centrepay and Medicare. Specific information fact sheets in your language can be found listed by product. Information is available for more than 60 languages. 

Crisis Funding - for those Visa holders who are not eligible for Federal or State COVID-19 assistance

The Australian Red Cross can help with emergency relief support for people on temporary visas. They have specific information on Emergency relief support for people living in Victoria.
